| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2007 (Bottled) Hazy dark ruby color with a small, beige head. Pretty mild, licoricey aroma with sweetish, smooth maltiness and some dried fruit. Burned-roasty, neutral maltiness with some ashes and sweetish-salty licorice in the flavor. Medium-bodied, very smooth and quite low-carbonated palate. Yes, there’s some Rochefort character, especially in the aroma - although it’s quite a bit milder than in the original. Overall a smooth, tasty and balanced, very nice dubbel. NoiZe (1382), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2007 Hazy brown color, medium head. Aroma of some roasted malt, chocolat, sweetness. Probably the recipe or the brewing has evolved in time, because it was very nice balanced, no strange ingredients were overwhelming taste and aroma. I’m becoming a fan of this brewery!
