75 cL bottle. Pours hazy amber to brown with a creamy and tan head. Light vegetable and malt aroma. Flavour is mild roasted malt with a light chocolate note. Light roasted flavour that goes into a light bitterness. Dry roasted finish. Mild yeasty too.

Bottle. [After party @ Papsoe, thanks buddy] Large creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Dark mahogany color with a reddish glow. Aroma of roasted malt, mild coffee and chocolate, some yeast and dried fruity notes as well. Over the palate came strong almost burned malty notes, sweet chocolate and coffee. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and somewhat thick texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor. Lingering roasted malty finish. Nice and solid brew. 7 / 3 / 7 / 4 / 15

Bottle 0,33ltr: Again an Dutch Stout, black as usual and a great roasted taste for this wannabee classic.

Bottled (THT 26/10/2007) from SS. Poured clear deep brown with a slight bit of amber. The white head was very quickly diminishing. Aroma of dried fruits, caramel, and a touch of chocolate. Tastes of mildly sweet dried fruits, mild roasted coffee, and anis. The finish is a tad thin and watery and mildly carbonated. Different, but ok.

Courtesy of Bierkoning! Transparent, dark brown with a red hue and a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, burnt caramel and preserved figs. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, light alcohol, preserved figs, caramel, light licorice and the finish is slightly dry and citrussy. Not very powerful considering the 7.7%.

Bottle. Red brown colour with a tan head. Flavour is coffee, sweet, apple, alcohol, hop, roasted, malt. OK beer. Not my favourite stout, too unharmanic to be that.
