Bottle, 33cl, from trade with jbrus. A reddish orange-golden beer wtih a small, creamy, beige head on top. Nice aroma, but hard ot identify as the aromas are very integrated. Some alcohol, a little chocolate and spices, and notes of caramel. Vinous, malty flavor with caramel and dried fruits, leading to a lasting finish with the same flavors. Warming and full-bodied. Maybe a bit strange, but sure a nice beer. 090619

Bottle, shared by MiP. Thanks! Cloudy brownish-amber. Autolyzed aroma with chewy molasses. Smooth and soft, with more molasses character. Decent brew, but with little nuance.

Bottle. Red amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is hop, sweet, malt, alcohol. flavour is hop, sweet, alcohol, chocolate, vieous. Nice beer.

Bottled, thansk MiP(?) Hazy mahogany colour, no head. Caramel and molasses. Fairly sweet and richly malty, near full bodied. Some strawberry and licorice. Drying out towards the warming finish.

Bottle.Amber red color with a small head.Aroma of alcohol apple and Belgian candy.Nice alcohol burn with some dried fruit flavor and caramel.Good Belgian style beer but not overly interesting.

Bottle. Muddy brown-red color with scant head. Oxidized aroma is rusty and smells hot. The flavors are better, after a chalky palate. Nicely hopped and fruity. Has a nice strength and grows on me.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of bierkoning. Appearance: It pours a beautiful ruby brown beer with a small bubbly head. Fair lacework. Aroma: Strong notes of molasses with hints of white bread, caramel, honey, nougat, mince pies, cherry and oak. Not much lacework. Flavor and palate: Very low carbonation. Sweet. Full bodied. A lot of molasses showing up. Hints of sherry and walnut. Warming alcoholic finish. Overall impression: Really true to the style of Quadruple. Thanks a lot bierkoning!

Bierkoning. Brown body, big head. Malty nose. Malty and spicy taste, with caramel and dried fruits. Sweetish. Another good one.
