Bottled. A hazy light amber beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity, but also with light spicy notes. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of figs, wheat, and spices. The body is quite thick.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy, pale amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Aroma of yeast and diacetyl. Rather full-bodied with sweetish malt accents - fruit, yeast and diacetyl. The finish is dry and bitter. A decent Tripel. Courtesy of jbrus. 040307

Bottled. Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, yeast and hops. Some glueish alcoholic notes also along. Flavour is very sweet alcoholic and spicy. When warming up a bit some sour fruits also come through in the flavour. Alternative thing.

Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy orange color, decent creamy white head, some lace. Strong fruity aroma: mango, banana and lime, also a bit spicey. Sweetish tripel, some candy sugar and lots of fruits: ruby grapefruit, banana. A bit crisp carbonation, decent malty backbone. Light alcohol, spices and hops in the finish and aftertaste. When fruityness dries out, hops are dominating the aftertaste. Balanced, enjoyable Dutch-type tripel.

8,9% on the label, bought at the brewery. 75 cl bottle, bottled nov ’04. Small but steady head, orange brown color. Heavy malty aroma. Full bodied, almost thick. Peach fruit and malt at first, immediately followed by a firm hopbitterness. This beer must have a high EBU number. There is some malty sweetness, the alcohol remains almost unnoticed. Firm beer, clean, tasty and not without character.

Bottle. [thank you, Skortila!]
’new’ version
For a tripel, this is relatively dark - a little hazy orange with a few particles and a small, very creamy off white head. Fine lacing. Aroma is herbal and fruity - lemons, oranges, thyme, grass, strawberries - a bit grainy as well. Fizzy and lively mouthfeel. Flavour is rather sweet for a tripel, but there is an orangy zesty tart feel hidden behind it. Very fruity with oranges dominating with a nice viniousness that never dominates. Very complex with a slight peppery yeast and a slight stickyness to the mouthfeel at the end combined with the aforementioned zest. Great beer... and I mean REALLY great!
