dirkbreedveld (222), Netherlands Nov 29, 2007 Nice beer, but a little to sweet for my taste.
Good creamy foamy head, golden yellow colour. Malty aroma’s give a sweettaste overall. The aftertaste is pleasant and lasting into bitters.
gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 2, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is spices, malt, yeast. Flavour is alcohol, sweet, yeast, hop, malt, spices. OK nice beer. yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway May 23, 2008 Bottle, thx to jbrus. It pours with a lot of microfloaties in an else clear, golden body. Off-white head. Spices, pale malt and citrusy fruityness in the aroma. The flavor is quite bitter and fruity with a balancing sweetness, leading to a lasting finish with spices, fruityness and some bitterness. Medium to full body, quite effervescent in the mouth. Pleasant, but untypical tripel. (080411) DSG (850), Yuvalim, Israel Apr 1, 2008 (3/15/08) Draught sample at Brouwerij de Molen in Bodegraven. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, some coriander and fruits. Sweetish flavor of malt and hints of caramel at first, turns yeasty and spicy with coriander and finishes dry with hoppy hints. Medium-bodied. Quite good. Hunsell (398), Amsterdam, Netherlands Mar 30, 2008 Sweet aroma of citrusfruit and some sugar. Sweet fruity taste, technically well brewed but a bit on the sweet side, like most Dutch tripels. Enjoyable enough though. henrikb (1096), Aarhus, Denmark Mar 19, 2008 Bottle - Hazy amber body, lasting off white head; Pleasant strange bubblegum pineapple nose; Quite full soft texture, bitter and slightly yeasty harsh body; Powerful finish, soft slightly sweet, very strange yeasty harsh. Good or bad?? Definitely different.
