Bready malts at first, soon joined by fruity touches, and lots of yeast notes. Bitterish, hoppy overlying flavour over caramelly malts, ambrée , etc., bit of dry wood notes. Good balance; retronasal parsley aroma. Warming up, finish gives banana ester. Well-bodied for its strength; certain grist slickness, nearly sticky. Well-behaved, well-bodied beer, which might benefit, IMO, from a more outspoken direction. Then again, with such a name - outspoken politicians are in the opposition... thewolf (5831), Kolding, Denmark

Pours slightly pale amber with a big, frothy and fizzy, off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma, some caramel, biscuits. Lots of apples, some cinnamon-like spiciness. Light earthy hops. Highish carbonation, lightish mouthfeel. Flavour is high on bitterness. Sweet caramel, fruity and earthy hops and some fine liqourice, ginger and peppery spiciness. Long hoppy, bitter finish. There is a weird, minty character, but it somehow doesn’t feel out of place ante (2969), Stockholm, Sweden
