Stupendouosly high head, deep yellow & dense, over foxy amber beer. Bready malts at first, soon joined by fruity touches, and lots of yeast notes. Bitterish, hoppy overlying flavour over caramelly malts, ambrée , etc., bit of dry wood notes. Good balance; retronasal parsley aroma. Warming up, finish gives banana ester. Well-bodied for its strength; certain grist slickness, nearly sticky. Well-behaved, well-bodied beer, which might benefit, IMO, from a more outspoken direction. Then again, with such a name - outspoken politicians are in the opposition...

Bottle. [thank you, Skortila/caesar]
Pours slightly pale amber with a big, frothy and fizzy, off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma, some caramel, biscuits. Lots of apples, some cinnamon-like spiciness. Light earthy hops. Highish carbonation, lightish mouthfeel. Flavour is high on bitterness. Sweet caramel, fruity and earthy hops and some fine liqourice, ginger and peppery spiciness. Long hoppy, bitter finish. There is a weird, minty character, but it somehow doesn’t feel out of place

Bottled at Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a frothy tan-coloured foam. Carmel, fudge, crackers, yeast and spicy hops in the aroma. Medium-bodied with touches of nuts, caramel, crackers and yeast. Sharp carbonation. Caramel and dryish spicy hops in the medium-bitter finish.

Bottle@Home. Hoppy, toffee, light grassy/herbal aroma. Hazy, amber/brown colour, beige irregular head, fair lace. Sweet, caramel, pretty bitter, light fruity (raisin), rusty. Medium body, little dry mouth feel. OK, not exceptional but great session beer.

Corked bottle. Brown color. Malty, caramelly aroma with a hint of cinnamon. Malty sweetish, biscuity flavor, but with a firm flowery and earthy hopbitterness. Hints of caramel and licorice. Pleasant and tasty ale, without being world shocking.

Bottled.Aroma has quality floral hops, crispy., some maltiness. Hazy, amber coloured with an off-white head. The taste is bitter, has a medium body. Typical de Molen. Quite on the hoppy side.
