An opaque brown beer with a small brown head. The aroma is sweet and sour with notes of yeast and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, cinnamon, and spices.

(Bottle 33 cl) Reddish brown, clear and presumably filtered. Light brown cappuchino-like head. Dark and malty with a distinct, dry bitterness. But actually this is more sour than bitter, which is very odd for a Doppelbock. We’re almost talking Flemish Sour territory here. Very interesting brew. 261104

Bottle. Kruidnagel aroma. Nutmeg. Herbal bitter flavor with laurel and nutmeg. Dry with some roasted malt. Very untypical bock, but certainly has quality.

Bottled: Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. A little bland aroma. Malt and spice present. Flavour of liqourice (my wife says, some horsestable is present!!), fruit and alcohol. Has some sweetness in the end. Is a little vague in both flavour and aroma.

Aroma of spices and butterscotch. Dark brown color, beige head, good lace. Light sweet, bitter, lots of spices, coriander and clove, medium body. Has a typical character that you also find in their barley wine.

Clear orange color, short head. Slightly sour aroma, fruity, sweet. Bit homebrew like taste, bit spicy and malty. Odd brew.
