Hunsell (398), Amsterdam, Netherlands Mar 30, 2008 On tap @ brewery. Waitress told me it was ’a blond’’. Hazy yellow beer with a nice white head. Smells yeasty, a little dusty, sweet yeasty taste, a little bit like a white as well. Did not discover the amount of hops that should be in a Bohemian Pilsener. Nice beer, but a little bit boring.

I was asked not to review this as it was the dregs of the bottle, and wouldn’t show the beer at its best, but it was just so tasty I have to come here and bump its average _up_. Fruity aroma. Soft palate, aided by the yeastiness. Tangy fruity hops sit above a gently yeasty malty body. Long hoppy finish. If this was the beer not at its prime, this will be storming fresh. (However, the yeast component was a positive contribution, as I mentioned before.) Should rerate. Thomas_E (5065), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 4, 2008 Golden colour with a white head. Malty, grainy aroma with a light hoppy grassy note. Malty, fruity flavor with grassy and light hoppy fruity notes. BeerBiker (1209), Odense, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 [Sampled at DŘE-festival with Helga, Sřren and Anne, Ĺrhus 2008.] Golden with nice white head. Notes of grass, fruits, grapes, malt, some hops and a true czech style. omhper (10730), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 27, 2008 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear golden, rich creamy head. Interesting aroma with buttery grainy malt and grassy spicy hops. Medium sweet with dense rouned mouthfeel. The grainy malt combines well with pilsnerish hay-like hoppiness. Finishes with balanced but marked bitterness. A well made enjoyable beer along the line of Czech 14° lagers. henrikb (1132), Aarhus, Denmark Aug 24, 2008 Hazy pale golden body, white head, Very grainy nose with a little hop touch; Bitter malty body that lacks some freshness; Lots of bitterness in finish, aromas are good but definitely not great.
