Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a medium tan head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruit - leaning on sweetly rotten, fresh red currant, alcohol, and wet late harvested hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, wood, alcohol, medicin, and some herbs, leading to a dry and sweet finish where the herbal note lingers.

(On tap) Hazy dark amber golden with a rough off-white head. Very fruity nose. Quite full-bodied and a little low in carbonation. Sweetish and very fruity with a subdued bitterness. Nice and drinkable. 120908

From tap. Pours hazy to murky brown with a lacing tan head. Yeasty and hoppy fruity aroma. Yeasty and hoppy with dry bitterness slowly emerging. Starts a bit on the sweet side though although that could come from the hops. Fruity and light phenolic finish. Nice and smooth yet also a bit rough.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Unclear medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, pine, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. 120908

Draught at ølbaren, Copenhagen. Hazy red brown coloured with a medium sized off white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, liquorice and hay with notes of dried fruits. Sweet flavour of caramel and liquorice with notes of hops, alcohol and dried fruits and some metallic notes. Hoppy and warming alcoholic finish. Reminds me of a belgian dubbel.

Hazy reddish-brown. Chocolate, nuts, toast and some brown sugar on the nose. Smooth, molassesy palate. Light orange and lime. Complex, interesting brew.

Hazy brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and a mild hoppy bite towards the end.
