Courtesy of bierkoning. Appearance: Extremely murky with a tall creamy head. (the head reminds me a bit of Duvel). Aroma: Mainly of honey and melon. Flavor and palate: Huge amounts of melon in the taste. Yeasty. Rubbery finish. Thanks bierkoning!

courtesy of Allen - cloudy dark orange colour with a little white foam; esters and dusts in the nose, notes of melon and honey; overly carbonated, very fizzy palate with a moderate and fruity (citrusy) finish - I’m surprised to read that this is bottom fermented

Bottle, 75cl corked. The beer pours a slightly hazy, golden body under a decent off-white head with fine bubbles. Lovely hops on the nose, giving a fine balance to the malty sweetness. Maybe a bit sugary sweet though. Fruity, sweet and bitter flavor with pine and resin. Effervescent and full-bodied, finishing with a really pleasant bitterness. It’s a really fine one, but maybe a bit on the sweet side even though it’s mostly hop-driven. There’s also a slight sour note in the far back, maybe it’s going bad? A fine experience though. (Bottle, Monk’s Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm, 26 Feb 2009) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with tropical fruit (pineapple, peaches) and grassy, spicy hops. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of grain, tropical fruit and a grassy, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet with a solid malt foundation and grassy hops to spice it up. Nice one.

Nice white lasting foam. Spicy grassy aroma (Saaz). Big body with much malt taste. Spicy with a big bitterness for a lager.

On draft at the brewery. Hazy orange-brown coloured, lasting off-white head. Very floral hoppy nose. Thirst-quenching hop-bitter flavour. Bitter finish. Very nice easy going thirst-quencher.

Bottled 33cl. at Monks Cafe, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear golden colour with a firm fluffy white foam. Minerally and grassy hops in the aroma with touches of dough. Medium to light-bodied with touches of white bread, wet grass, minerals and neutral yeast. Medium-bitter finish of minerals and mild grass.
