Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A hazy light golden beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grass and hay as well as light notes of brewmash. The flavor is sweet also dominated by grass and hay, leading to a dry bitter finish. I like the almost IPA like characters of this Pilsener.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of jbrus. Slightly hazy golden with a creamy off-white head. Fruity nose with a vague yeasty whiff. Medium body with a citric fruitiness and a fairly bitter finish. Not bad but I never woul’ve guessed this to be a Bohemian Pils! 220409

Århus2008. 75 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a lacing white head. Light hoppy aroma with a mild pilsner like note. Flavour is mild malty with a slowly building bitterness. Finish is of a mild bitterness and light fruity note. Straight forward yet nicely balanced yet wiht a bit more (fruity) hops than a normal pilsener.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear golden, rich creamy head. Interesting aroma with buttery grainy malt and grassy spicy hops. Medium sweet with dense rouned mouthfeel. The grainy malt combines well with pilsnerish hay-like hoppiness. Finishes with balanced but marked bitterness. A well made enjoyable beer along the line of Czech 14° lagers.

Draught @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, grain, light to moderate hoppy, grass, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (A bit land / kellerbier alike) (220208)

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Golden colour, huge white foamy/fluffy head. Aroma is malts, some grassy hops and mild notes of hayishness. Flavour is honey, malts, grassy hops as well as some mild yeastyness. As it warms up, the malts get abit sweeter.
