Slightly hazy yellowy orange, frothy head lasts a while. Refreshing crisp aroma, light malts and delicate hops - between a wit and a light saison in its citrussy spiciness. Refreshing carbonation. Retronasally a little soapy. Quite a thin palate, again harking back to the witty/saison feel earlier. However, as always, I’m not rating to style, I’m rating on how happy my gob is to have this liquid pass through it. The malts are very light, and the bitterness is quite grassy, and again soapy. Crisp and refreshing, but not what I’m looking for most of the time. armando629 (1010), Budapest, Hungary

Complex aroma of hop resin with wild fruits. The taste is all about the hops, resin with a hint of caramel, some fruity notes. Fine aftertaste of hop. jerohen (1615), Bussum, Netherlands

The cork popped before i had even removed the metal wire. Cloudy golden coloured, big lasting white head. Hoppy nose, very fruity, some yeast. Hoppy flavour, bitter, yeasty. Bitter finish. Pretty solid thirst quencher. But it doesn’t really taste like a bitter to me, it’s more a saison as mentioned by others. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2008 Bottle. Hazy amber with a fierce, but stable off-white head. Good citrus aroma and flavours, quite a bit of orange zest. Decent bitterness. Very good, but far from a bitter. Tastes like a good saison. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Cask, BSF at the GBBF. Caramel color with a bit of haze, white head. Honey, ripe grapefruit, musky/melon. Chewy citrus hop pellet flavor, nice lemon honey sweetness and brisky hops, but the husky veg quality of the hops is kind of off-putting. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 31, 2008 At the brewery pub. A hazy orange colored beer, with a thick foamed white head. It leaves a beautiful lace on the glass. The aroma is fruity, grassy and a lot of hops. The taste has a good hop bitterness of the dry hopping. There are citrus notes and some other fruits like orange. A very good refreshing beer.
