Bottled at Monks Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a small off-white head. Rich and sappy aroma of pine-needles, resin, black-currant and caramel with touches of cookies, caramelized sugar and grapefruit. Full-bodied with notes of resin, dried figs, pine, oranges, burnt sugar, caramel, over-riped pears and grapefruit. Long chewy medium-bitter finish of grapefruit, resin, caramel and figs. Really tasty stuff but tastes more like a west coast style US Barley Wine.

Dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sticky caramell and fudge, dense malty with light resinous hop notes. Flavour is big and sticky like a barleywine but with a good resinous hop kick in the end. When I had this fresh at Valby it was a fantastic hop bomb and a true US style I/DIPA, later on the bottles I have had have been either flat or extremely hop tired (or both) and has delivered more of a barleywine, a pretty damn good barleywine though.

Thanks Doug! Batch 572. Dark caramel in the glass, thick, dense with a slick sticky tan head. Earthy topsoil hoppy blended aroma. Dank earthy leafy hops everywhere, subdued over time, not oxidized, just relaxed.

Bottle from De Bierkoning: Pours a slightly hazy dark copper amber with a small froth of cream-colored head. Aroma of resiny grapefruity hops and some lightly sweet toasty caramel maltiness. Body starts with a rich caramel malty fullness and a good balance of juicy citrusy hops before a crisp bittersweet, slightly warming finish. An enjoyable double IPA that has good hop flavor, but could use a fresher hop nose.
