[Sampled at DØE-festival with Helga, Søren and Anne, Århus 2008.] My teeths went to water. Great black beer with brown head. Notes of strong roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, wood, good fat mouthfeel and indeed a complex beer. I want more!

Nov 18, 2008 Draught. Pitch black colour. Sweet dark fruity very roasty chocolate aroma. Great mouthfeel. The flavour has a very pleasant roasted maltiness with raisons, chocolate, some spice, coffee and some liquorice. Yum!

Nov 2, 2008 Black colour with large creamy head.Aroma of dark chocolate and rosted malt.Smooth flavor and nice well balanced mouth feels with note of nuts and licorice.

Oct 16, 2008 (750ml bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke, toasted marshmallow, wood, coffee, and nuts. Flavor of roasted malt, light fennel, cocoa, and coffee.

Oct 7, 2008 Dark with a creamy brown head. Aroma is very nutty walnuts and dark chocolate witih tarry liquoice. Flavour is dry raosted malts burnt caramel, Toasted walnuts, coffee and sticky dates. This beer has a gorgeous mouthfeel thick and syrupy with a wonderful silky finish. This is one beer i would like a bottle of!!!

Potent dark malt bubblegum aroma with generous raisin and plum and some tobacco. Also perceptible citrus and pine hops in the nose. Thick, black-brown with wisps and ring. Excellent, almost vinous, roasted malt and coffee flavour with all the bitterness coming from dark malts. Notes of oxidized molasses and grain. Full body, moderate carbonation, a little dark malt bitter finish.
