On tap at Borefts BF 09. I like it, takes a long time to drink. It’s good, sweet and dry. Lovely Eisbock. Lovely. Good fruits, some demerara sugar and some ruby port.

On tap at the 1st BBF at De Molen. Beer poured a redish brown color with a tan head. Aroma is powerful with caramel and dried fruit notes. Taste is even more powerful with a warming alcohol presence, dried fruit taste and a nice hop bitterness on the tongue.

Had this at the Borefts Beer Festival, De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven, Netherlands 30-10-09 Pours clear reddy/brown looks absolutely great and in stark contrast to the gravy appearance of the Simcoe dry hopped version. Aroma is fruit, sweet maybe even a little nutty. Good warmth from the alcohol though again its very well hidden, decent bitterness, very nice and my favourite of the three. A7 A5 F8 P4 Ov15 3.9

Tap @ 1st BBF, De Molen.
Pours lovely ruby red with a hint of brown. Impressive, staying, creamy, beige head. Sweet aroma, caramel, dried fruits, lightly vinous, raisins. Light carbonation, fat but still rather light mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, caramel, some fat maltiness, light alcohol. It is lovely looking and very nice. Probably a tad one-sided and there is a lot of alcohol in there.

Sweet flavour of caramel, dried fruits and liquorice with notes of alcohol, hops and pine needles. Warming alcoholic and dry hoppy finish. Well hidden alcohol.
