Ober (276), Best, Netherlands Apr 24, 2008 Updated: May 3, 2008 It’s a very hazy, dark yellow colored beer. It has a large thick foamy head. The aroma is malty, it has hop bitterness and it’s fruity. The taste is very malty, wheat and has hopbitterness, from American hops. And in the end it’s fresh, as a Spring bock, has to be. It’s good balanced. The totally taste is different, then the most of the Spring/May bock beers. I like this one very much.
ante (2473), Stockholm (Bromma), Sweden Aug 9, 2008 Bottled at Monks Cafe, Stockholm. Hazy deep golden colour with a low lasting white head. Rounded aroma of whaet, almond-paste, green bananas and yellow plums. Medium-bodied with touches of yeast, almondpaste, banana and honey. Smooth mouthfeel. Long but rather mild finish of over-riped banana, coriander, marshmallows and yeast. Low bitterness. bager (2027), Copenhagen N, Denmark Jul 11, 2008 Bottled. Hazy pale golden in colour with a rather large off-white head. Yeasty and fruity although not as gross and banana like as most wheat beers. fonefan (4328), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 5, 2008 Bottle 75cl. Hazy yellow orange grey color with a small, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, citrus, moderate yeasty, banana notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long to average duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (160508) foodtraveller (26), Belgium Jun 14, 2008 This reminds me somewhat of the blond trappist with orangey color. Rather carbonated with bitterness, honey, malt (especially in the nose) and citrus and goo aftertaste length. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 7, 2008 Corked bottle at Ølfestival 2008, Århus Cloudy deep blond color. It has some banana aroma. The mouthfeel is quite dry and yeasty, with some malt sweetness and light wheat and banana, not impressive.
