This reminds me somewhat of the blond trappist with orangey color. Rather carbonated with bitterness, honey, malt (especially in the nose) and citrus and goo aftertaste length.

Corked bottle at Ølfestival 2008, Århus
Cloudy deep blond color. It has some banana aroma. The mouthfeel is quite dry and yeasty, with some malt sweetness and light wheat and banana, not impressive.

Bottle at ÅBF08. Citric aroma, slightly yeasty. Quite cloudy orange colour. Citric hop notes, some yeast. Very small white head.

Bottle, [thank you Skortila/Caesar]
Pours muddy pale golden with a giant, bubbly white head. Lots of big floaties in the liquid. A stunning array of speedy bubbles fizzz towards the bubbly foam on top. Aroma is sweet and very fruity with oranges, bananas, lemon dominating among light liqourice and coriander. High carbonation, but still nicely creamy. Flavour is lightly vinious, good fruitiness with a mixture of banana and lemons appearing. Is this a Dutch Hefe-Wit? Good spicy finish with coriander and a hefty hops note.

It’s hazy and warm golden and the aroma is malty and spicy with notes of citrus. The flavour has sweetness, notes of citrus, coriander and spicy yeast. The body is nice and full, and you do not feel the ABV in the flavour.

Appropriate for a Spring seasonal. The aroma has Belgian yeast with flowers and herbs, like new vegetation after winter. Cloves and other spices in the flavor, some wheat. Brown color and a medium palate. I might have called this a spiced beer. Thanks to Islay for sharing this one.

Sample at Aarhus beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet and fruity. Yeast and malt is there as well.

Sampled at OSLO’s and Guerde’s tasting courtesy of Islay

Pour is a cloudy orange. Pepper clove aroma. Murky dirty brown pour, like apple cider. Nice peppery flavor; like sampling carrot cake. Solid beer for sure.
