| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2008 [Bottle, thanks Islay!] Pours really hazy brown and gold. Aroma was really quite nice--definitely reminiscent of spiced pumpkin bread. Somewhat sweet initially, then spice and the bitterness that often comes from a lot of it, and finally some wheat. Medium mouthfeel with a long finish. Pretty nice, although the taste wasn’t quite as good as the aroma. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

Very cloudy copper color with no head. Strong Belgian yeast aroma. Slight coriander and wheat. The flavor starts with a little cork and metal, but turns into a solid wheaty and yeasty brew. Slightly thin body. bierkoning (6099), La Tropica, Netherlands

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2008 Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear orangey beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and spicy (from being dry hopped with Amarillo), but also with notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet wheaty with notes of Amarillo hops and cloves, leading to a dry bitter finish. I like the idea of fermenting a wheat bock really warm - and then dry hopping it with Amarillo - now that is a fusion of styles - keep up the good work.
