Good balance, refreshing. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 4, 2009 Bottle at RBESG 09 Sheffield. Hazy gold/orange with thin lasting off white head. Hoppy and lemon as hell. Yeasty, but I love the hop. Really biting on the finish. Yeasty hops. I liked it. mbuisman79 (133), Amsterdam, Netherlands Aug 29, 2009 Great flowery smell of an IPA. I don’t like IPA’s usually because of the bitterness but here the sweet flowery esters make up for the hoppiness, that is like grapfruit. Did strike my stomach somewhat so I had to eat with it. Very complicated and interesting beer. stobbe74 (655), Denmark Aug 24, 2009 Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2009, Valby. Pours an unclear/muddy golden beer with a firm white head. The aroma is fresh hops (grapefruit and peach). The flavor is also hops, mainly grapefruit. The palate is dry, and overall it is a very good beer. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Aug 24, 2009 Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2009... hazy amber ... big brightr sweet resin hop ... again sweet hop ... little malt ... nice pine hop linger.. Allen (1282), Switzerland Aug 19, 2009 Bottled 33cl. Murky deep golden with a lacing off-white head. Hoppy, faintly yeasty aroma of grapefruit, sweat, spring onions, elderflower, freshly cut grass, pineapple, tree sap, ginger, incense, nutmeg and blue cheese. Hoppy, yeasty taste. Complex. Medium bodied. Rather sweet. Good bitterness. Nice hop profile. Surprisingly peppery on the swallow. Dryish finish which is reminiscent of nasturcium, spring onions and nutmeg which are accompanied a lingering sensation of sage. A yeasty IPA with a huge amount of character- not a very pleasant one though.
