Aromas of light roast malt and spice and hop. Smells more like Belgian ale than IPA. First impression is brett. Body is medium plus with forceful carbonation. Now the flavors are spicey, earthy, malty, oaky, and a lot of floral/citrus hop. Fairly astringent, with a bitter finish that hints of funk. It goes a bit vinous, perhaps. There is a lot going on here. Something of a challenge. Really good. tarjei (1755), Bryne, Norway

Hazy light brown color, big but disappering off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Flavor is hoppy, fruit, sweet and a fine sourness in the background that gives the beer a Belgian touch. Fine and lasting aftertaste. Ober (1232), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands
