Commercial Description:
Dry hops, Cascade,Chinook and Galena. Red-brown beer with a creamy beige foam. Complex nose, nutmeg, exotic woods, spices, flowers and nice hops are there to make your nose go crazy. Taste is medium dry with cognac accents. There is a bitterish touch of bitter nutpeel, cardamom, wood and a touch of honey to give it a mildish flair and for sure a grat dosis of citrussy hops.

Orange colored brew. Spicy, mild hoppy aroma. Flavor is floral, hoppy, citrus, sticky, some sweetness. Could use some more balance, still very enjoyable.

Draught @ Ølfestival Valby - CBF09, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Unclear hazy medium yellow orange - amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - grapefruit shell. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. IMO a messy porridge, not as balanced as Menno’s beers normal is.. special in the flavor. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090515]

Small, just off-white head over cloudy orange-amber beer with a UFO or two. Rich malty nose with abundant C-hops, grapey, alcohol and a little sourish spike. Outspoken bitter taste, but not harsh, ending in a fruity impression. Quite some malts, but their sweetness is totally overpowered by all the hops. The backing is OK, however, not unbalanced. Faint copper-like flavour. Very well carbonated, but all the same some pretty creamy texture. Well-bodied, much more than 6.2% would make believe. I could get hooked on this one, really.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm) Hazy reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of dried fruit, orange, caramel, toffee, spices (nutmeg, cardamom) and rubber. Fruity, malty taste with caramel, dried fruit, orange peel, rubber and some citrussy, floral hops in the finish. Not very bitter, more spicy. Tasty beer but a bit unfocused, pointing in all kinds of directions.

330ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Fruity hoppy aroma - Anna says tamales. Acidic and alcoholic in the mouth. Some nettles. Not so good - too brash, and - dare I say it - overhopped. No balance.

Bottled@Pikkulintu (bottled 27.4.2009). Murky orange color, small white head. Sweaty, hoppy aroma - Cascade is there. Messy porridge in the flavor. Fruity, horseblankety (kind of), yeasty, twisted flavor. Too yeasty.. I prefer more clear IPAs ... :O)

Bottle at Monks Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Pours out in a cloudy brownish amber colour with a low off-white foam. Resinous aroma of orange-peels, flowers, grass and heavy perfume. Medium-bodied with notes of tangerine, nectarines and apricots with undertones of grassy hops. Medium-bitter finish of grassy and spicy hops.

Bottled. Cloudy orange color, big off-white head. Soft fresh grassy hops. Decent bitter grassy taste. Bit too carbonated. Average stuff.
