Commercial Description:
Dry hops, Cascade,Chinook and Galena. Red-brown beer with a creamy beige foam. Complex nose, nutmeg, exotic woods, spices, flowers and nice hops are there to make your nose go crazy. Taste is medium dry with cognac accents. There is a bitterish touch of bitter nutpeel, cardamom, wood and a touch of honey to give it a mildish flair and for sure a grat dosis of citrussy hops.

Draught. Bit hazy deep yellow body with a medium white longlasting head that left lacing along the glass 15 min. after pouring. Fantastic looking beer. Spicy aroma with fresh hoppy notes as passion fruit, grass and peach. More passion fruit in flavour with a good malt base and some spices. Good balance. Soft and harmonic body. Very well made IPA indeed!

Bottle from Bierkoning. Ah, an IPA from de Molen. Heaven. Hazy golden body with rocky head. Piney and hoppy nose. Nice taste of hops, toffee and plenty a pine in the finish. Warming. Delectable to all of us hopheads.

Bottled. Aroma has grapefruits and some other hop fruits, some pine. hazy, yellow-amber coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is bitter, has some maltiness but mostly crisp citric hops. Dry & bitter finish. Nice IPA!

(Draught) Not very convincing, slightly vegetably with hints of alcohol, and only mild fruitiness. Also yeasty, and feeling like it hasn’t been fully fermented. Not touching the score, as this was clearly better from the bottle. (Bottled) Very hazy amber with a large head. Aromatic-hoppy nose with dark fruitiness, hints of oak and alcohol, feels stronger than 6.2% - almost barley-winous. Dark-dried-fruity, sweetish flavor with not much bitterness, but lots of aroma hops and fruitiness present. Medium body, soft carbonation, hints of warming but smooth alcohol. This is not really an IPA, but rather a stronger pale ale. Still pretty smooth, complex and enjoyable.

330 bottle 1222 from Alvinne. Pours hazy amber with a decent off-white head. Aromas of light roast malt and spice and hop. Smells more like Belgian ale than IPA. First impression is brett. Body is medium plus with forceful carbonation. Now the flavors are spicey, earthy, malty, oaky, and a lot of floral/citrus hop. Fairly astringent, with a bitter finish that hints of funk. It goes a bit vinous, perhaps. There is a lot going on here. Something of a challenge. Really good.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruit among them grapefruit, combined with notes of grass. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of grapefruit, leading to a dry, bitter, and citrusy finish.

Great flowery smell of an IPA. I don’t like IPA’s usually because of the bitterness but here the sweet flowery esters make up for the hoppiness, that is like grapfruit. Did strike my stomach somewhat so I had to eat with it. Very complicated and interesting beer.
