On tap at Café België. Black beer that sticks to the glass. Smell Coffee with a hint of chocolate. Taste start with coffee/mocca then lingers with a very soft fruitish sweet, very nice. The fist reaction is jacky, but later on I realy started to like it!

CBF 2009: Black. Light brown head, mostly lasting. Malty aroma, burnt, dark chocolate, sharp coffee. Too much coffee. Moderate sweet flavor. Syrup texture. Soft carbonation.

Draught@Københavnske Øldage 2009. Dark brown with ryby highlights. Low choco head. Cocoa powder, roasted dark malts and intensely strong coffee aroma. Much of the same flavorwise; Burnt coffee, espresso to be spesific, and chocolate. Roasted dark malts with a certain sweetness beneath. Prominent bitterness in the finish. A pretty good one, maybe a bit heavy on the coffee.

On tap. Completely opaque black with a dense light brown head. Very distinct coffee aroma. Medium body with hard roasted malts, very burned - almost ashy - too much for my palate. Dry and malty bitter finish. 160509

Bottled, thanks to caesar for sharing. Dark brown coloured, small head. Strong aroma of mocha coffee and malts. Initially somewhat sweet flavour, later on the coffee begins to shine through, but never as apparent as in aroma. Lingering bitter finish. well brewed, but just not really my kind of beer.

On tap, primeur at noon on the second day at The Copenhagen Beer Festival 09. Naked surface, but an inviting deep brown body. Intense aroma of Arabian coffee. Sweet mocha coffee in flavour followed by bitter coffee grounds in a long lasting aftertaste. Works very well and nicely on the palate. A pleasant and promising start to the second day at the festival(16.05.2009).

Bottle. Aroma has roast, coffee, some liquorice and mocha/chocolate. Pitch black coloured with no head at all. Very oily texture. taste is sweet with some roasty bitterness. It has coffee, much coffee. O, this is good!
Rerate (previous 3.9), on tap. The mocha in the taste of this beer is remarkable and wonderfull. Don’t think I have ever had it like this.

Draft. A brown beer with a red shine under a thin brown head. The aroma has strong notes of mocca and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of mocca and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted coffee finish.
