ante (2503), Stockholm (Bromma), Sweden May 22, 2007 Bottled. dark clear orange colour with a fluffy white foam. Dryish yeasty aroma of hay, oranges and grassy hops. Well-balanced flavour of oranges and white pepper. Medium-bodied. Finishes of neutral yeast, grass and orange-peels. maeib (3960), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England May 1, 2006 Bottled - Reading BF. A copper coloured beer with a reasonable white head. The aroma is yeasty, peppery and a little lemony. The taste is fruity and yeasty with some spices and some pepper and lemon. Quite a lot going on but reasonably well balanced. thebeertourist (1801), Oslo, Norway Feb 9, 2006 Bottle,5.2% ABV. Orange-amber with a big white head. Nice, spicy and yeasty nose, remnant of rye-bread. Like a well-made Belgian blond. Sweet spiciness, yet good balancing bitterness, some fruitiness as well, especially towards the finish. Medium body, well-carbonated. A nice surprise from this small brewery. Vac (2232), San Diego, California, USA Oct 13, 2006 Pours with a slightly cloudy golden body topped by a thick head with lots of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and spicy (coriander) with a touch of peppery hops. Light to medium bodied, smooth and a touch warming. Otje (668), Leiden, Netherlands Aug 26, 2005 yep, gooseberries, yeasty(there is a ton of it on the bottom) citrus aroma. tastes like a saison: spicy, citrussy, hopbitter and yeasty. finishes fruity, dry, and a bit sweet. medium body. good carbonation(lively). and as Joris stated; tuig is not scum in this case, it’s all the ropes and wires around a windmill(=molen) :-)
