Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with an orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of sweet malt and fruit as well as a light acidic and brett’y edge. The flavor is very sweet and very malty with quite a lot of fruit and some bread. The alcohol burns lightly in the cheeks. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a dense off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and burned caramel and some fruit. Quite full-bodied with sweetish burned caramel and fruit and an astrigently bitter finish. An Irish Ale at 9.5% ABV?? - well, that’s a first. 230808

Bottle, 9.5%. OK fruity aroma. Hazy to muddy amber colour. Stable tan head. Sweet flavour with a good fruity sweetness. Berry-like fruitiness. Some yeast as well. I expected more considering the ABV.
