At the brewery pub. The beer was young. A hazy amber/red colored beer, with a thick off white foamy head. It stays very long. The aroma is fruity, malty and bitter. I thougt American hops, but it was Saaz. The taste is bitter as well, with fruity, some berries, hints. You don’t taste the 9,5 % alc. A long bitter aftertaste. A very good beer.

A Mes rate: bottle thanks to the ever generous Menno.
Cloudy and opaque dark red brown with a superb thick and creamy beige head. Looks inviting and like it means business. A lovely but very unusual smell. Superb treacle sweetness off set by some really lovable floral and perfumed hoppy notes. Candy sugar and some estery character too. Topped off well with some spice and moss if you dig deep. Really interesting. The flavour is strange to say the least but equally enjoyable. In fact this is quite unique and yet another example that Menno is making some very fine beer these days. The flowers and perfume balance out really well with the sweet, almost pineapple notes of the alcohol. There is wood a plenty, some caramel, lovely fruit and some excellent bittering hops on the finish. The rounded delicacy of the Saaz really come through well. Glorious warming feel on the way down. Dry yet full in the mouth. Unusual, well made and very enjoyable.

Bottle. High creamy and long lasting, good looking off-white head, leaving nice lacings. Thickly looking hazy milky orange body. Lovely barley malt aroma with nutty and earthy notes. Dusty oranges lemon caramel flavors as well as a bit of ginger. Low carbonation, fair amount of hops bitterness, and a long aftertaste. Very well balanced and alcohol nicely hidden by all the flavors.

Bottle 75 cl. shared with a friend. Pours a reddish brown with a big head and a sweet liquorice aroma. The taste is sweet, malty, alcohol is notable, with some smoke and spices too. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky, with a sweet but somewhat bitter finish.

Bottle 75cl @ brasserie420 Strong orange ruby colored. White non too persisting head. Caramely dry nose. Some bitter hop taste just to balance it off, but mainly fruity malt character Nice, I could have a couple.

Dark amber colored brew. Nice sweet aroma, a bit yeasty and some fruits. Yeasty, light sweet flavor. Fruits are smooth. Very balanced hopbitterness, really blends it all together. Gets smoother along the way. Nice.
