Nov 29, 2009 Flaske: Åbner med et pift hvilket er beroligende. Farven er sort med et minimalt skumhoved. Duften er meget alkoholisk med en svag bourbon note. Smagen er kraftig bourbon på en uraffineret måde. Base øllen må sådan set have været ok, men alt drukner i bourbon. Ikke nogen fantastisk øl, der dog alligevel sniger sig op på over 3 bare fordi.

Nov 27, 2009 Bottle (18ml) at home. Black - brown head. Chocolate, oakey, wood, roasted, high sweetness, licorice, sharpness, coffee, spicy, vineous, high malty, powerfull, light vanilla, light alcoholic. Very nice.

Nov 23, 2009 5th August 2008. Roasty malt - smooth and not too bitter. Good sourish whiskey like note but not peaty or smokey. Smooth ending with a touch of sherry. Lots of warmth.

Big roast aroma. Black and strong in alcohol with a crisp and slightly bitter warming chocolate finish.

Nov 7, 2009 Bottle at BBF. Black body with small head. Nose of malts and chocolate. Really nice, rich and dark taste of chocolate, coffee and dark fruits. Well-balanced. Very, very good.

Black coloured with a small beige head.
Roasted aroma of dark chocolate with notes of port wine and whisky.
Roasted flavour of dark chocolate and port wine with notes of dried fruits.

Nov 2, 2009 Bottled @ BBF. Cloudy brownish color, medium off-white head. Aroma of chocolat and coffee, but also fruity red wine. Perfect balance in taste between the roasted coffee from the tsarina esra and the vinous notes of the barrel aging. Awesome stuff.
