Commercial Description:
Flemish Oud Bruin, with lactobacillus, fermented in Bordeaux and whisky barrels, and afterwards blended. Not very sour , the bordeaux barrels really take center stage. Supremely sophisticated woody aged malt flavor. Mild milky to a whisky dense caramel malt base. Nice blend which gives a distinct more "serious" malt base from the whisky compared to many other Flemish oud bruins, as a consequence the body is more full and smooth.

Amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, caramel, and a little berry. Caramel and malty flavour, with some wood and a slightly tart note. I recognize that it’s unique, but would probably have liked a more uncompromising sour beer a little more.
