A slight musty aroma is not pleasant, but not off-putting. Mostly smooth flavor and mouthfeel. Mild spice and tanginess. A little of the mustiness/funk is perceptible occasionally, making this one not a real winner.

Hints of spice, banana, and other tropical fruit in the nose. Bright yeasty flavor, slightly bitter, a tiny bit sweet. A pretty solid abbey style blonde, which is not my favorite style, but I like this. michael-pollack (2730), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured amber/orange in color with a small, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small, medium, and large-sized particles throughout. Flavor is medium sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of malts, yeast, slight caramel, slight honey, bread, and a slight hint of spices. Medium body. Slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, yeast, malt, and bread finish is a tad dry. ROGUE (700), Newark, Delaware, USA

Pours a cloudy light amber color with a medium head that leaves some lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with soft malt and traces of spice. Taste was dark hops along with lemon zest, caramel, honey and then the alcohol warming up the back of the throat. Medium bodied and refreshing.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Corked bottle and served in a snifter: Coppery sunset hue with minimal head but good lace, some floaties. Honey, Candi sugar, earthy yeast, caramel, bread, and some tangerine are upon the nose. The taste is sweet malts and ripen fruits over a layer of grainy malts. Honestly there is not much depth here and therefore a tepid Belgian Ale. The mouth feel is lively and aggressive but there is a medicinal quality I do not care for. Once again I am left at a state is disappointment with this brewery. Ordinary Average Copper Guy. daknole (3023), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

Aroma is very fruity, spicy, and some hints of yeast. Flavor is yeasty, caramel, apple and spices. Not bad, but not the best Blonde. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
