Pinhead art I believe. Pours cloudy gold. Aroma is a bit of ripe, sour fruit, lemon, some grassy notes, and a funky yeast-like note. Flavor is quite delicate for the style, unique as well, some biscuity notes and the slight tartiness followed by a brief mild bitterness that comes as the palate feels like it’s almost being coated with a thin wax. It finishes a bit warm from the alcohol as well.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Nice golden pour and an average size white head. Beautiful aroma of fruit and spices. The flavor is lots of yeast, and not much more.

opened a weinharts flemish wild ale.nice funky aroma, pour was nice, thick white head, nice lacing.aroma again funky, musty, maybe even a bit sweaty. nice golden color, reminiscent of duvel pours. first taste, and i see the duvel similarities, although a bit thin. definitely can tell its belgain, just that funky taste. a bit bitter in the end of mouthfeel, but an enjoyable ale. with the low ibu’s, can anyone tell me what version the flemish wild ale is modeled on?.all in all, great beer, maybe a slightly aged duvel .

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours golden with a decent size fluffy white head. Aroma of sour Fruit, citrus, and belgian spices. The flavor is up-front a quit sweetness which quickly fades in a heavy musty biscuity smooth finish. Good body, to much biscuit for me.

25 oz bottle, Spoon Whacker, Stateline Liquors. Pours a completely clear pale yellow colored body under a frothy and clingy bright white head. Lots of fine visible carbonation. Aroma is very grassy with lots of dried straw. Some light vegetal notes, apple, lemon rinds, flowers, and some brett funkiness. Flavor is quite unique, very dry and funky with straw and vegetal (corn especially) notes up front. Finishes with a light aged leafy hoppiness and laced with funky brett and a musty moldy weirdness. Mouthfeel is very light bodied and airy. Quite refreshing with it’s lively pinpoint carbonation. I didn’t really have any expectations of this going in, but it turned out to be quite an odd experience. This had some similarities to RR Damnation I thought. Certainly not a beer for everybody, but I think I liked it.

bottle shared with hotstuff and thedm - Pours hazy yellow with a big, fizzy head. There’s yeast and citrus apparent in the aroma. The flavor is lightly malty and tart with good balance and a trace of banana. The mouthfeel is very lively and the finish enjoyable and pleasantly warming.

bottle. Reinaer Flemish Wild Ale. rubber cork?!? clear golden pour with carbonation, nice white head and good lacing. aroma is spice and musky. smells kind of like a dirty sock but I can’t stop sniffing. I love the smell of this dirty sock. now I want to drink it. something died. It was put in a box and left in the desert heat for 30 days. Nothing was left except for the liquid from the rot. This extract was mixed with some fruit, spice and of course a dirty sock. It was then priced at $8 a bottle. The result was a drain pour after about 8 painful sips. My wife said it smelled like monkeys! It may be a bad bottle but I will not be buying another one to see. This was horrible.
