A hazy orange beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet with distinct notes of yeast and apples. The flavor is sweet yeasty and very spicy with a dry ending. A nice beer.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a creamy, white head leaving a neat lacework. Some traces of Brett in the aroma. Only a medium body, very dry with a vague underlying tang. Brewed for the American market where there seems to be a constant demand for Brett - also in other styles than Gueuze/Lambic. For a Belgian this is not the real McCoy, but still it’s quite fresh. Bottled, labelled Vlaamse Primitief Wild Ale.
Cloudy golden. Aroma of honey and yeasty with a light touch of lemon. Sweetish with dense, rounded mouthfeel and notes of nutmeg. So flowery it’s like chewing on a flower. Resiny, herbal finish.

Green label. The difference in the labels is slight differences in the hop variations, but it’s basically the same beer (importer’s words, and I agree). Pale, slightly hazy appearance. Aroma is fruity (apple). Flavour is slighlty minerally, yeasty, with a "green" hoppiness. A bit odd, definitely Belgian, maybe primitive, though after sorghum beer it’s a tough case to make.

Yellow, cloudy. Some bretty aroma notes, with nutmeg, bread and grapefruit. Palate is slightly astringent, with peachiness. The aroma hinted at a greater degree of acidity than there actually is. It also hinted at more funk that there actually is. The palate overall is kind of minerally. It smelled like so much more...

Cloudy blond color. Very difficult to describe, but surely disgusting! Corky, sour, too bitter.

Hazy amber with medium off white head. Sourish aroma with woody and malty notes. Flavour likewise with brett notes to follow up.
