Poured a straw yellow (clear until the yeast pour) with a thick white head (nice lacing). Aroma of light bret. Some light hop aroma (faint citrus). Very dry! Nice bret flavor - sour and light acidity. A bit of soft creaminess. Moderate mouthfeel and carbonation. The cork popped out a bit after the cage was undone. I enjoyed it due to its dryness, softness, and subdued bret flavors. Flavors aren't strong, but quenching.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a medium sized white head. Funky, but nothing huge, sweet sour fruit, big earthy brett note, little bit of caramel. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel, touch of sweetness, big brett note. Long funk finish with a lot of dry brett. Tasty.

( 330ml bottle) pours clear yellow, chunks of yeast sediment and nice tight bubbles in the head and lasts a while. Nose of florals, earth, Brett, light cherries and maybe some wood. Taste is quite earthy, strong carb, floral like a perfume, golden raisins, and even a little vinous. Finishes with only a hit of alcohol and dry fruits. Overall misses the mark but drinkable.

From:: "The Temptation of Saint Anthony." Not much aroma, but a very spicy flavor. Minimum body. Tastes of Nutmeg and Cinnamon.

As Reinaert Flemish Wild Ale. Pours a hazy light gold with a large white head. Aroma is initially a little sour, then follows wih fruit and floral. Flavor is a funky mix of fruit, hops, floral, with a skunky finish. Odd but not bad. Mouthfeel is average, medium density. Different, but pretty decent if you can get past the astringent tone throughout the flavor. Overall, good plus.

FP0108? Rat Rider, I believe. Pours a cloudy, pale golden color with sediment and a huge, white, rocky, creamy head which diminishes in time to a very thin, lasting layer and leaves sporadic lace. Nose is interesting and "scattered" with brett notes; spicy alcohol almost white pepper-like, juicy lemons with a light tartness, light candi sugar, light grains, dusty yeast, light spicy dry hops, and lots of barnyard and horse blanket. Flavor is similar with still a lot of horse blanket and barnyard funk, light grains and light candi sugar, tart and juicy lemons, some hay, dusty yeast, and spicy dry hop notes all the way through the finish. Palate is nearly medium, drying, lively, but not at all warm. Finishes dry with plenty of hay, barnyard, and horse blanket, tart lemons, some dusty yeast, and the spicy dry hop notes lingering bringing a moderate bitterness. An interesting use of brett but the dominating horse blanket notes were a bit overwhelming. There was just not enough other prominent flavors to match those notes. Very complex and drinkable and certainly interesting but only adequate for me.

Aroma of canned peas and manure. Shimmering yellow with a thick white head, minimal lacing. At first, it tastes like horse manure smells, although it finishes with a nice pilsner type hop. After I let it sit for awhile, most of the bottle funk burned off. It remained shitty but at a more tolerable level. LESS cowbell!
