Jul 28, 2008 Foggy deep orange with a big fluffy white head that lasts. Thick lacing. Nose is of grain and yeast with some fruity notes. Taste is predominantly fruity with notes of citrus, grapes, and apple. An apple-like tartness is a subtle but noticeable note in the taste. Dry finish with that same understated tartness. Not at all bad, and not awesome either.

Jul 28, 2008 Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured hazy orange color with a medium frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Complex aroma of yeasty and sweet spice. Body was medium with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Flavor was sweet & tart fruit with a medium bittersweet smooth finish of moderate duration. Good, not great beer.

Jul 27, 2008 330ml bottle. Pours a rich amber with a firm white head. Spicy aroma of clove and coriander with some malt. Lovely delicate light toffee flavour, which is allowed to flourish as the alcohol is very well hidden. Pretty smooth too. A good Belgian ale.
