| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 20, 2006 aroma is sweet candied sugar and a bit of hops. pours golden with pretty decent head. Flavor is balanced, but harsh and kind of strange... sweet, but and well hoped, but not pleasant. I tried to like this beer, but its just not a great brew. reminds me a lot of duvel. I happen to be drinking one right now... but this beer is much less pleasant with harsh flavors, a peculiar sweetness and hoppiness. not recomended, but its still not the worst thing I’ve had. Sweet taste, soft carbonation, full body and a finish that’s everlasting harsh/bitter with some sweetness in the end. This beer lacks subtlety. Not as good as some might say...
