| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Big white head. Fine and rich hopped-spicy, slightly fruity and toffeeish aroma. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is even more bitter with hops, spices and yeast also available. This toffee softens the flavor a bit, makes it slightly sweet. Mild alcohol in aftertaste with some lemon. Fine beer. stankenk (130), Maplewood, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Orange/amber color with thick white head; very hazy. The nose is very strong in yeast; not much else, possibly some fruit notes. Strong yeast taste with a slightly hoppesc finish. BückDich (4851), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Bottle: Pours a hazy orange color with light carbonation hence the small head and mild lacing. The nose is yeasty with some mild toast, doughy malts and a background of raisin and fig with some light apricot and green apple notes the farther back you go. The flavor is snappy with plenty of yeast and a moderate body in spite of the yeast and hop bitterness. The alcohol is apparent in the tail and there’s an overall light metallic bitterness lingering that puts out the good fire the nose started. WeeHeavySD (3002), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Taste is ripe fruits (melon), yeast, malty sweetness, some spice, a little sourness. Soft mouthfeel. Too sweet and the wrong fruity taste for me.
