A perfect thirst-quencher........... hurrisnow (6), Nebraska, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 11, 2008 An interesting beer, however, if this was a geuze, I feel it would be undrinkable due to it being too sour.Thanks to Sledge Jr. kitschy (213), Nebraska, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2008 In bottle, capped and corked. A muddy fruit punch color, with white fizzy head. Smells like cherries that have fallen off the tree onto warm cement. Palate is a real roller coaster, tart, sour, cherry - a true tongue workout. Flavor takes cherry and then adds a bunch of sour, but not the yeasty stuff I despise. SledgeJr (3003), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 17/20 | Jan 11, 2008 In the 750 mL bottle from Beertopia. Looks like the color of an elixer made from orange juice and cranberry juice. Reddish orange pink with a pink effervescent head that dies fairly quickly. From the aroma, this is going to be very sour, but I still smell some intense cherries. Very sour tart cherry in flavor. Has some wet horse blanket effects, but the battery acid is fairly severe. I’d suspect that this might be below pH of 2.0. What keeps this from burning a hole in my stomach? This is incredible. ba2008 (25), USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 2, 2008 Poured a ruby red with a slight haze. The aroma is obviously sour cherries and a wee bit of sulfer. The taste is whole sour pie cherries right off the tree, with a little of the oaky wood taste. Frothy on pour. Sweet cherry aroma. Tart cherry taste. Medium body. No aftertaste. Nice fruity beer, reasonably priced for a specialty. drseamus (103), Troy, New York, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 24, 2007 Served from a nice capped and corked 750ml. Crystal clear red body with tons of visible carbonation. There was a white head just for a touch but it disappeared quickly. Nice sour tart cherry aroma with no detectable sweetness. There is a slight chlorine note, but it could be in my head. The flavor is extremely tart with a great pucker effect. There is a very dry finish with a hint of brett. There is a bunch of carbonation on the tongue giving it a nice mouthfeel. Overall a good beer. yobdoog (1533), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

Nice sour cherries and some sugarplums on aroma and taste. Taste has more citrus fruits than aroma. Aroma has a little oak where in the taste I don’t find any. Very nice overall.
