| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 12, 2006 Bottle: Ruby caramel color, light pink head, nice lacing. Nose is vinous and tart with some subtle fruity and malted notes. The flavor is also tart, nice balance and very funky good. Finish is good with some light cobwebb syrup and brett. Nice light fruit but still tart. Good. Yum. Tranquillity (1168), Espoo, Finland
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Sour aroma of cherries and perfume. Hazy red-brown with a hint of a cloud on the sides of the glass. Extremely sour, even for a kriek, very dry and addictive. The mouth starts watering from this and you just want more. Doesn’t really taste cherry, it’s more like an English cider (old rosie scrumpy comes to mind). JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 2, 2006 A red beer, and pink foam on top. The aroma is sour cherry and barnyard. It seems like it is almost a lambic, in fact I’m not sure why it isn’t classified in that category. It is a little sour, but not as sour as I expected or actually hoped. The cherry flavor comes through unmistakeably, and towards the end of hte bottle the beer is more cloudy and pleasant yeast flavors mix with the fruit and sourness. Low carbonation. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 2, 2006 Cellar’s Tasting. Pours with a medium hued red and a large red head. Definite aroma of cherry, but there’s a not-so-subtle hint of lambic sourness. The cherry flavor is more subdued in this Kriek than others, but by no mean takes a backseat. The sourness and oak are both definitely noticeable. As the gent leading the tasting pointed out, "it’s not Lindeman’s." moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 24, 2006 My first paper covered bottle...The aroma is funky, slightly sour, and woody. The appearance is red with a nice pink head that dissipates quickly. Full palate with good carbonation. The taste is very, very sour with good cherry flavor up front. Some light funk sits behind it all to add complexity. Theis (3792), Denmark
