| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 12, 2006 750. The beer is hazy, medium scarlet red with a large, frothy, pink, diminishing but mostly lasting head.

The aroma is quite FSA-like, packed with sweet, funk. Malty with light notes of toasted grain, cookie; Hoppy with a moderate floral/rose note; Yeasty with moderate-to-heavy notes of barnyard, horseblanket, light notes of soap and dank basement; Miscellaney contains a moderate-to-heavy note of tart cherry, moderate note of vinous vineagar, concentrated grape juice and oak.

The flavor is moderately acidic, lightly-to-moderately sweet, trace bitter with a long, lightly-to-moderately acidic, lightly sweet finish. Lots of genuine cherry in the aftertaste.

The body is medium, the texture is velvety and the carbonation is softer than lively.

Beautiful and memorable. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Nov 6, 2006 It’s beer 66 and I know I’m getting drunker. My handwriting is getting harder and harder to decipher. However, the beers were so good I couldn’t say no. This smells like cherries, is sour, and full of floaties. Surprised to see that its just a regular fruit beer. I would’ve thought a lambic. thornecb (1812), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 28, 2006 Pours ruby red into a tumbler. Bright pink micro head does not recede. Cherry and cheese aromas. Sparkly sharp sour/sweet cherries throughout. Lasting sour cherry finish. henrikb (1305), Aarhus, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 28, 2006 Very beautiful rubin red body with an orange edge, very light pink head; Beautiful nose with lots of sour and ripe cherry as well as cherry pit, behind it there is a very special acidy aroma that I do not recognize from anywhere, there is also cedar, oak and malt; The body has some fill and is super sour, small amount of sharp tickling carbonation; It finishes very dry and super acidy/ sour, the aromas are very sour as unripe cherry, unripe apples, very late in the finish there is a very small amount of warmer notes of cherry pit. This si excellent Kriek beer. IT is not a Lambic for the reasons We all know. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

Wow. A great flamish sour kriek. No too much sweetness but well balanced with the geueze taste.
