This red Lambic poured with a decent pink head that went away quickly. There is a subtle cherry aroma and a natural lambeek cherry flavor that is slightly sour, with little sweetness. The sour brown base gives this beer a different dimension. bhensonb (4358), Woodland, California, USA

Aroma is quite tart, with vinegar and cherry, along with a musty hay quality. Flavor starts with the same tartness, then shifts to a sweeter and smoother feel near the finish. Flavor sticks on the tongue- interesting and tasty brew. Jblauvs (600), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2009 Dark ruby pour with minimal head. Aroma is cherry, vinegar, and some barnyard. Yeast character is quite intriguing. Flavor is tart cherry, and vinegar with some sweeter notes in the finish. Palate is medium to full with a tart, dry finish. Interesting style of sour blended with lambic. I was skeptical, but it was quite enjoyable. Pipper (258), Ohio, USA

On the nose: same white grape tartness as lambic gueuzes but the flavor is really watered down. Flat but crisp. Don’t get the cherry taste but more lemon and white grape. Love the crisp cool character and the slightly boozier aroma of this as compared to the guezes. Very drinkable but not very complex. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Pours a pinkish amber color with a pink head. Aroma is sour with some cherries, yeast, slight oak, and a little horseblanket. Flavor is tart and sour with cherries, candied sugar, yeast, and some oak. One of the most sour, sour beers I’ve had. Pretty delicious. minch25 (366), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Murky raspberry red, light pink head quickly dying down. Funky lambicy aroma. Quite tart; in fact it tastes just like a kriek lambic if perhaps toned down a little in its acidity. Short finish, refreshing. Not cheap but worth it. Very classy.
