Bottle-sampled at three-years-old: Pours a nice glowing, muddy ruby red with a dense, pinkish head that fades to a film. Fantastic aroma! Very funky with earthy farmhouse, funked/lactic cheese, leather and a touch of cherry skins when it warms. Fluffy and sharp texture. Sour flavor with lots of earthiness. Has some oak, farmhouse, leather, lemon juice, grapefruit, and just a touch of sour cherries, which becomes more apparent with warmth. The finish is fairly clean. Tart and cleansing. Nice stuff!

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev, jerc & garthicus - courtesy of HogTownHarry. Hazy ruby-pink. Aroma is funky and tart, like a spicy and yeasty cherry vinegar. Flavour isn’t quite as funky as the aroma suggests, but it’s pretty damn tart, with big sour cherry notes and a drying, yeasty finish. Perhaps a bit too bracing, but still pretty nice.

Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, tupalev, jerc & garthicus -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a murky red with an average size diminishing pinkish-white head. Nice aroma of tart cherries, light spices, dry funky yeast and some sourness. Flavour: TART! Yeah! Tart cherries along with some spices, wood and funky yeast -- earthy, acidic and dry but very drinkable. Wow, I was not expecting to like this this much -- this is great stuff!

750mL bottle. Pours a very bright, medium ruby-red color; decently sized bright pink head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing; really nice pour. High levels of solid acidity and tartness in the aroma: fair show of funk, tart citrus, pitty red fruits (skins, minimal tannins) including cherries and red raspberries; very nice, developed tartness. Lively carbonation and mouthwatering acidity. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: loads of upfront red fruits (cherries, raspberries, and slight strawberries), lemony citrus, and reasonable amounts of funky cheese and tartness; crisp, and dry overall; very nice rendition of a kriek-like sour ale without taking away too significantly from the solid fruit character; very enjoyable. Lengthy, tart finish: lemons, cherries, and lasting sourness and funk.

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, garthicus, GregClow and jerc - via trade with Boutip. Best before 12 2010. Hazy ruby, smallish head. Simple sour cherry/lemon juice, dry, nice funk. Taste - very much straightahead sour cherry with funky acidic yeast. Average body, solid acidity, nice and lively, medium tart cherry finish. Very nice - eminently drinkable.
