Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel, pear and coreander in the aroma. Alcoholic, malty flavor. Yeasty with notes of caramel and nondescript spices. Yeasty, alcoholic, just a bit disappointing brew.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of dust, light, acetic acid, slight dark ripe fruit, light yeast, slight metal, and a bit of caramel. Poured brown/slight ruby in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of dust, yeast, cocoa, roasted malts, light caramel, slight tar, some hops. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Medium sweet, caramel, slight tar and slight yeast finish. 9%ABV is well hidden.

Brown coloured beer with lots of carbonation and an average off-white head. Enjoyable malty and fruity aroma. Medium to full palate. Full creamy palate. Finish is bitter! Hoppy-yeasty dry finished with some candi-sugar yeasty hints with some light roasted touches. Atypic and strong finish. Not bad.

Bottle@Home. Raisin, vanilla and a hint of port in the aroma. Hazy, brown colour, beige head, good lace. Light sweet, bitter, candy sugar, laurel. Quite OK but needs some work to get the right balance.

ZBF 2009. Dark-red beer with a creamy head. Nice herbal aroma and taste. Very well balanced with a nice soft bitterness. Ends more bitter than herbal.
