Bizarre spicy aromas that were tart and fruity and reminded me of squashed tomatoes. In the mouth the tartness was apparent with a light citric edge, after that it just went off at tangents, so much so that I make no attempt to join up the flavours. Aniseed, tomato ketchup, warm mediteranean herbs like oregano and thyme and finally cough drops. Lingering spices in the finish with a vague suggestion of mashed vegetables. This was weird, but tasty and indescribable, hence the name.

Also notes of peach and apricot. Strange notes of ketchup in the flavour. Funny and interesting? Yes! Something I could drink lots of? No! JorisPPattyn (5190), Antwerpen, Belgium

Taste is sweet fruity, gooseberry or kiwifruit. Full-bodied, I'd say the fruit- if only the fruit was in there. It isn't - there's just hops plus four spices/herbs. Perfect spicing? Whatever did he use for this fruity taste/smell/feel. End-of-bottle yeast is particulary bitter.
