Deep ruby red color, medium-sized creamy beige head. Aroma of kandi sugar, dry yeast, wood and caramel. Flavor has caramel, some alcohol and spices. Aftertaste is a bit spicey with some caramel. Quite ok, although standard. Similar to some beers from De Proef’s mill. oh6gdx (9126), Vasa, Finland

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 5, 2006 This beer has a dark red body - hue apperance and a fine white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter with a dry bitter afther tast. JorisPPattyn (5193), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 24, 2005 Draught Dark, slightly hazy brown with orange highlights; head gone upon drinking; Liquorice, some dark malts and candi sugar in the nose. Pure liqourice, both bitter and sweet components, retronasal more bready. Medium bodied, some slickness and obviously "eating and drinking" alike. Average beer - I just wonder what the idea was?
