Cola appearance, including the quickly disappearing ugly head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malts, quite bitter. I think De Roos tried to brew a stout-like beer, but it didn’t totally work out. OK the first few sips, but bland and uninteresting after awhile.

Aroma of roasted malts - coffee. Cloudy, dark brown/black coloured with not even a short thin off-white (brown) head. Taste is sweet, coffee malty with some hops and a quite bitter finish. Sticky brew. No balance at all.

Dark brown color, short dying head. Aroma is quite alcoholic, some black malts. Taste of coffee and licorice with a bitter malty palate. The bottle also said 'proefbrouwsel', which means this one is on trial. I wonder if it's going to pass the test then.
