Well it owuld have been clear gold, if I hadn’t poured the yeast in. Quite a perfumed blond. Bit of sherbert on the end. Not really my favourite. A very sherberty blond and not entirely drinkable. Ethereal (927), London, Greater London, England Aug 25, 2008 Cask at The White Horse Belgain Beer Festival, 24th August 2008. Clear deep amber with little head. Sweet and spicy flavour, very Belgian. Full bodied with a reasonably long aftertaste. Not bad. BoBoChamp (729), Gent, Belgium Jul 23, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink, not complex, hazy, good head, nothing special SHIG (1547), Oberoffligen, Germany Jul 19, 2008 Bottle: Poured a light orange brown with a white medium head. I expected something more golden, maybe to cold. I do like the appearance. Aroma is sweet with fruit, malt, and some very fine spice. The taste is very good with fruit and sugary malts, the finish is tangy hops that dry the buds. Very pleasant suprise!
