Much of the above is also present in the mouth, with warmth from the alcohol, touch fruitier than expected a little bitterness. It fine but no great shakes. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Bottle:   Pale golden, slightly hazy, moderate to large frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Pale bready nose, faint floralness, slightly danke.   Semi-sweet soft breadiness on the tongue.   Feels like a cross between a Belgian example and an American.   Not very bubley, a little flat in fact.   Not bright, but not dull.   Middle of the road.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Little bit of pale fruitiness on the finish.   Not bad, a little simple, but at least its fairly clean.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Yummm! Nice beer! Poured with a big, off-white, foamy head and a little lace. Color is an almost perfectly clear amber. Aroma is yeasty, dry, champagne, a little hop and a little malt. Flavor is not huge, more subtle, but quite pleasing - again yeasty, with a dry - sweet - dry action that is intriguing. Great body and excellent carbonation. Finish is very good with only a little alcohol showing a time after the swallow. Could be a session beer if you went easy. madmitch76 (645), , Essex, England

Virtually none of the expected tripel dry fruitiness. Just a little sourness and a bitterish finish. wouterpulinx (27), Belgium
