Muddy peach uncapping with a gush of foam, slender dense collar dappling the glass. Smells like Lockets and flatpack; honey sweet and coniferous with medicinal orange, pine needle, eucalyptus, and initally some beany vegetal notes. A bit drab and still with discreet sprucey hop, bilious citrus, honey, metal, yadda yadda. Pretty bog standard thick yeasty Belgian. ratman197 (3266), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Slightly earthy, sweet aroma, spicy; with Belgian yeast. Dry flavor, with some fruits; yeasty. Not much happening really. Slightly sour, with a strong bitterness at the finish. OK, but not so interesting.

Faint aroma of toasted malts, nuts, a hint of grain. Flavour is dry, a little nutty, caramel, biscuits. Fine but lively carbonation, dry yeast bitter finish, making this a nice refreshing Belgian ale. So far the best Belgian Amber I’ve had. Wim (1321), Turnhout, Belgium
