De Ryck stayed in my mind for a long time by making a really nice beer you would always only get half a bottle of. Because the rest exploded all around you or at best turned to foam. This beer, however, is very mature. Medium alcohol, great grassy/honeyish smell, good honey taste combined with freshness. Finally a long lasting bitter palate that manifests only 15 inutes later to it’s full potential. Great stuff!

Good off-white head over hazy orange-golden beer with pink shine. Spicy, rosehips aroma, some toasted malts. Very neutral taste, going on with faint strawberry, and leafy hints, dry biscuits. BIt empty palate (served too cold), indifferent malts. It starts way too neutral, but gradually it grew upon me. Would make up for a very nice "quaffing ale" .
