| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 27, 2007 Draught Hazy brick red; no head. Beautiful old cherry, cherrystones, speculoos nose, parsley. Speculoos, but old one, which has gone stale, nearly rancid, very strange. Of course a lot of acidity, lactic acid, acetic, but remarkably little fruitiness, just some cherry at the lips. Medium bodied. I substitute of much taste, the cherries lend some rounded body to the beer. Very original kriek. Not what one expects, but it is not bad at all. diabel (1372), Aarschot, Belgium
