Ober (376), Best, Netherlands Aug 11, 2008 A hazy yellow/golden colored beer, with a huge , very thick foamed white head. It disappears rather quick. No lace. The aroma has yeast, fruits and malt. Nevertheless it’s not a dark colored beer, some notes of prune. the taste is mouth filling, with a lot of everything. Some sweet, a little bitter, there are fruits. The beer is complete not in balance. Not nice to drink. bierkoning (4920), La Tropica, Netherlands Jan 16, 2007 Last bottle available in the shop. Orange brown color. Plums in the aroma. Sweet, sugary flavor with plums and chewing gum. The sweetness hides the alcohol somewhat, but it is there. Prickly mouthfeel. Quite drinkable, but amateuristic. jbrus (4178), Delft, Netherlands Oct 22, 2006 Bottled. Aroma of orange, spices and molasses. Cloudy, brown/amber color, beige head, good lace, pours very thick. Sweet, spicy, yeasty, fruity in a bad way and unbalanced. Thin, yet warming. Very amateuristic but the flavors are not bad. I think this young brewery has to learn a little bit and could make a great beer in a couple of years.
